Rag'mes Savannahs

Savannah F1 female

About Us

Sara and Enola, mother and daughter, always passionate about felines! We have lived surrounded by domestic cats for more than 20 years, but it was not until 2020 that we discovered the "Savannah" breed. It was after extensive research that we acquired our first specimen: a 1st generation male, known as Savannah F1. Hybrid of the serval, the Savannah has a wild look but a golden character! He is independent but affectionate, fearless but curious, but above all he is an exceptional animal and faithful to his human.

What is the Savannah cat?

The Savannah is a hybrid feline resulting from the crossing between a domestic cat (Felis catus) and a Serval (Leptailurus serval, small wild feline from Africa), hence its belonging to the non-domestic species for generations from F1 to F4. The first specimen was born on April 07, 1986 at the breeder Judee Frank in the United States. In 2001, TICA accepted registration of the Savannah breed. F5 to F7 generation specimens have been accepted for exhibition at LOOF since 2007.
